  • What kind of advice do you expect?
  • Which section looks the most useful for you personally?

Read the article once. On the second read, highlight or note down:
  • 3 useful expressions
  • 2 etiquette tips that surprised you
  • 1 sentence you completely agree with — and 1 you don’t

Vocabulary Focus: Choose any 4 expressions from the text and:
  • rewrite them in your own words,
  • write one example sentence for each (from your life).
Suggested phrases:
make a graceful exit, be a good guest, elevated look, “it’s been so brilliant to catch up”, undercurrents of office politics

Your Party Strategy: Write 4–6 sentences answering:
  • Which tip from the article would help you the most at a real party — and why?
  • What’s one piece of advice you would add based on your own personality?
